The CCAS expert summit invites abstracts that take into account any aspect of HIV research; including, but not limited to, basic science, clinical management, epidemiology and ethics. A special focus is placed on studies based in the Caribbean; and on International studies whose finding can be translated in a way that is relevant to the Caribbean HIV population and healthcare response.  

Abstracts to the CCAS Expert Summit 2018 must be submitted via the online portal which opens on April 1st 2018 and closes on May 15th 2018 at 1159hrs.

Abstract should be written in English and should be formatted to include Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Conclusions. The maximum allowable word count is 300 which should be spaced at 1.15 interlines in Times New Roman, 12 point font.

CCAS requires all authors to disclose any potential sources of conflict. If there are none, a statement reflecting such should be included.

All submissions will be reviewed by a panel comprising members of the Scientific Program Committee. Abstracts may be selected either for oral or poster presentation. You will receive the final decision by email during the first week of June.
