Dear colleagues and friends,

It is indeed our pleasure to offer a very warm welcome to delegates attending the “CCAS EXPERT SUMMIT: From Care to Cure - Towards the Elimination of HIV”. The summit brings together an array of experts who have been selected not only for their international reputation but also for the vision they bring to their work. Please join us at this exciting juncture in the HIV field as we meet to discuss the state of the art in HIV treatment shifting the paradigm from care to cure.
The summit will review the dramatic advances in antiretroviral therapy and the public health benefits accruing from treatment as prevention. The Caribbean is LEADING THE WORLD in eliminating mother-to-child transmission, with seven (7) Caribbean countries certified by WHO to have eliminated transmission of HIV from infected pregnant mothers to their infant.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Caribbean island of St. Lucia and your active participation in this landmark summit.
